Adding to the comment posted here, if looking for a good tomato sauce that’s friendly for those with IBS or Crohn’s, highly recommend Rao’s sensitive marinara. You can add anything you want to it to match what your body is okay taking in. Otherwise, this pasta sauce doesn’t have any garlic or onion, and it uses a specific type of tomato that doesn’t upset the stomach as much as other types of tomatoes. I personally love adding some thyme, extra basil, in a little bit of garlic powder.

Safer than Fresh tomatoes as there is no skin however when used in a rich tomato sauce the acidity can cause me some issues.
