  • 750g - 5% Turkey mince (thigh)
  • 300g water with 2 knoor beef stock
  • 1 pack spring onions (optional - green part only)
  • 3 tsp ground cumin
  • 1 tsp ground coriander
  • 1.5 tsp paprika
  • 1 tsp mild chili powder
  • 1 tsp sugar
  • 1 can of chopped tomatoes (napolina) but remove the big chunks
  • 1/3 can of kidney beans
  • 2 bell peppers
  • Fresh coriander

Preparation time: 20 minutes


Fry the onions and mince in a pan until brown. Drain fat once brown.

Add cumin, ground coriander, paprika and chilli powder to pan and fry those for a minute or 2 then take off heat.

If using a slow cooker (recommended) add pan contents to slow cooker pot at this time.

Add 2 cans of chopped toms (removing the bigger chunks) and 300 ml of beef stock.

If using a slow cooker... leave on low heat for 5-6 hours.

If using a conventional pan... heat on low for 1 hour.
