- 750g - 5% Turkey mince (thigh)
- 300g water with 2 knoor beef stock
- 1 pack spring onions (optional - green part only)
- 3 tsp ground cumin
- 1 tsp ground coriander
- 1.5 tsp paprika
- 1 tsp mild chili powder
- 1 tsp sugar
- 1 can of chopped tomatoes (napolina) but remove the big chunks
- 1/3 can of kidney beans
- 2 bell peppers
- Fresh coriander
Preparation time: 20 minutes
Fry the onions and mince in a pan until brown. Drain fat once brown.
Add cumin, ground coriander, paprika and chilli powder to pan and fry those for a minute or 2 then take off heat.
If using a slow cooker (recommended) add pan contents to slow cooker pot at this time.
Add 2 cans of chopped toms (removing the bigger chunks) and 300 ml of beef stock.
If using a slow cooker... leave on low heat for 5-6 hours.
If using a conventional pan... heat on low for 1 hour.
