Pizzas can be very difficult due to cheese and tomato being the core ingredients of most pizzas, which are extremely dangerous for Crohn's disease. The solution is to replace both of these with a flavoursome satay sauce!
Satay sauce:
- 3 tbsp smooth peanut butter
- 165ml can coconut milk
- 1 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 tsp sesame oil
- 1 tsp clear honey
- 1 tsp curry powder
Mix all satay sauce ingredents in a small bowl (add a splash of water if it’s too stiff). Transfer to a small pan with the coconut milk, and heat gently for 5 mins stirring continually, until combined.
