I have had Crohn's disease for 40 years, now I am 62, for a year I have been taking a tablespoon of chia seeds before each meal, I have noticed beneficial effects, I feel less fatigued, I have fewer episodes of diarrhea and less urgency to go to the toilet Chia seeds have improved my quality of life.
To gain the nutritional benefits I am soaking in over night oats or blending in to a smoothie. However, I think it is wise to start with small amounts and avoid during flare ups.

Glad to see this is well tolerated by people. Its a good source of soluble fibre which is what people with crohns need in their diet.
