Instructions
Marinade- 1 teaspoon toasted sesame oil
- 1.5 tablespoons rapeseed oil
- 2-inch knob ginger, finely chopped
- 1/2 cup dark soy sauce
- 1/4 cup regular soy sauce
- 1/2 cup rice wine vinegar
- 1/4 cup mirin
- 3 tablespoons sugar
- 3 tablespoons cornstarch + 1/4 cup water (combined beforehand)
- Sesame seeds for garnish
Deep fry wings in pan of rapeseed oil (in batches), cooking for roughly 8 minutes at a time until golden brown
Combine all marinade ingredients and simmer at a low heat, stiring occasionally, until you have a thick sauce
Combine together, garnish and serve
