Why do you need to know my condition?

It is really important that you tell us if you have a condition. This will place you in a group specific to that condition so the advice and food ratings that we give you only relatve to your condition.

Any ratings that you give us will also only be applied to the foods and recipes for your condition so you will be helping fellow people with the same conditon as you.

Unfortunately, eataware currently only works for one condition, due to the nature of the ratings algorithm. If you have multiple conditions please get in touch so I can look into tailoring the site for you.

Why should I set a display name?

Your display name will be what appears to people with the same condition as you when you leave a comment on a food or recipe.

We believe in complete anonymity, especially as things such as medical conditions can be very private to people. So don't worry, if you don't want to choose a display name you don't have to, we will make one for you and you can always change this later.

Why do you want to know my age group?

It is important we know your age group as our diet and bodies change as we get older. This allows us to tailor our advice and ratings for you with people of a similar age.

This can be especially important for childen, by providing your age you will help us get the right advice to them.

We believe in complete anonymity, especially as things such as medical conditions can be very private to people - we don't ever ask for real names or addresses and everything you do on this site is completely anonymous.
